Will my formatting survive the conversion to Plain text?

Yes. Your PDF file is converted into a rich document model first — headings, bold and italic text, lists, tables, links, and images are preserved — and then exported to Plain text from that model, so the structure carries through instead of being flattened to plain text.

Does it work when the PDF has no selectable text?

Yes. Scanned or image-only PDFs are read with vision AI, so you get the text out even when there's nothing to copy-paste in the original.

Can I edit the document before downloading?
