# Saved Prompts

## Reusable Prompts

If you find yourself typing the same instructions over and over - "turn this into bullet points," "tighten this paragraph," "match my usual tone" - save them as prompts and reuse them on any document with a click.

### The Saved Prompts Menu

Open the saved-prompts menu with the button at the bottom of the chat box, next to the attach and send buttons. It lists every prompt you've saved - click one to drop it into the message box and tweak it before sending, or send it straight away if you've turned on one-click prompts.

### Saving a Prompt

There are two ways to save a prompt:

- From a past message - right-click one of your earlier prompts in the chat and choose to save it.
- From what you're typing - with text in the message box, open the menu and choose Save.

### Managing Your Prompts

Choose Manage in the menu, or head to [Account › Saved Prompts](https://revise.io/account/prompts), to organize your collection. There you can:

- Give each prompt a memorable name.
- Edit the prompt text - changes save automatically as you type.
- Attach files (PDFs, images, documents) so a prompt comes pre-loaded with the reference material it needs.
- Delete prompts you no longer use.

Note: Saved prompts require a free account and sync across every device you sign in on.
