The Revise SDK is proprietary software. It is published on npm, and you can install it without contacting us.

Free use

You can use the SDK for free, with every feature included, for:
  • Evaluation: development, testing, and prototyping, including for a commercial product, with no time limit.
  • Personal noncommercial apps: production apps run by an individual that do not make money or support an organization.
  • Education: accredited nonprofit and public schools, colleges, and universities.
There is no open source requirement: your application stays yours.

Commercial use

Production use by businesses, nonprofits, and government needs a commercial license before deployment. This applies to internal tools and customer-facing products. That includes apps that are free, ad-supported, or not yet earning revenue. Commercial licenses can add support SLAs and source code access. To get one, use the form on the pricing page or email sdk@revise.io.

Restrictions

  • Modifying, decompiling, or reverse engineering the SDK. Configuring it through its documented options is fine.
  • Reselling or redistributing the SDK on its own, including as a reusable wrapper. Shipping it inside your application is fine.
Each version of the SDK is licensed under the license included with it. The SDK sends an anonymous usage ping, which you can turn off with telemetry={false}.
