What is Revise?
Revise is an AI-powered word processor. Think Google Docs meets Cursor — you can write, edit, and automate your work with the built-in AI features. Learn more in the User Guide.
What AI features are included?
Revise features an AI agent that can help you brainstorm, draft, edit, and rewrite your documents. The agent can even search the web for you to find citations!
When it edits your document, the agent proposes changes that you can review and accept, keeping you in control.
Revise also uses LLMs to power its best-in-class PDF content extraction system, and inline spelling and grammar suggestions.
Which AI models are supported?
You can choose between the latest models from OpenAI, Anthropic, and xAI including flagship models like GPT 5.2, Sonnet 4.5, and Grok 4.1.
What am I paying for?
The integrated AI features in Revise are metered based on your usage. All accounts get a modest AI limit for free, but for regular use we recommend upgrading to at least the Plus plan, which includes 10x more AI tokens per month than Basic. Power users are best served by the Pro plan.
How Our Plans Work
How does billing work?
Billing cycles begin on the date you subscribe and renew every month. Your AI usage limit resets at the start of each billing cycle.
You AI usage depends on how many requests you make, how long your documents are, and which models you use. Our system measures the token cost of your requests and meters you only based on actual costs.
Can I change plans anytime?
Yes! Upgrades take effect immediately with prorated billing. Downgrades take effect at the start of your next billing cycle.
What happens if I hit my limit?
You'll be notified as you approach your limit. Pro users can enable On-Demand Usage to continue without interruption. Other plans can upgrade anytime.
What is On-Demand Usage?
Pro users can opt into pay-as-you-go pricing after reaching their included monthly allowance. On-Demand lets you set a monthly spending cap and only pay for what you use.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes, you can cancel your subscription anytime with a single button click. You'll keep access until the end of your current billing period.
