Is the word counter free?
Yes. You can paste text and check its word count for free, without signing up.
Which file formats can I use?
Upload a Word (.docx), PDF, plain text (.txt), or Markdown (.md) file. PDF files go through the document import flow before their counts appear; import limits may apply.
Does counting words change my text?
No. The counter measures your document without rewriting it or sending an editing request to the AI assistant.
What does the page count mean?
It reflects the document layout in Revise. Imported documents may have a different page count from the original file.
