Convert files in batches, and closer to Word
Batch conversion
The Document Converter now takes several files at once. Thumbnails of each result fill in as it converts, and you can download everything as a .zip. Every result is still a Revise document you can open and edit.
PDF and scan import
- Password-protected PDFs now ask for the password and import.
- Scans and photos are read by a stronger model, and take their title from the document instead of landing as "image".
Closer to Word
We went through more of the places where a .docx could look different in Revise than in Word:
- Table rows now break across pages like Word's, instead of jumping to the next page and leaving a gap.
- Line numbers restart with each section and skip the paragraphs that turn them off.
- Odd-page and even-page section breaks leave a blank page when they need one.
- Exact line heights, list spacing, and sub-level numbering match what Word shows.
- A table of contents keeps its page numbers in every .docx export.
