A new PDF engine, and real figures from imported PDFs
PDF export
We rebuilt PDF export, and your PDFs now match the page you see in the editor:
- Text is searchable and copyable in every script, with fonts embedded.
- PDFs carry working links, bookmarks, and tags for screen readers.
- Long books in complex scripts like Tamil now export.
- The Export button shows a progress ring while it works.
PDF import
PDFs saved from another app now import with their real figures and exact text colors, rather than a description of the image and plain black text.
